Reporting to the Client Experience Officer, the successful candidates will be responsible for handling all the switchboard operations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Telecommunications Operations Management, Customer Service, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, International Relations and Communication Management, Front Office, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • Two years of work experience as a Telephone Operator
  • Strong customer service & Interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal communication skills and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Attention to detail – monitoring multiple phone lines requires good attention to detail

 

 

2.     Peri-operative Theatre Nurse

REF/PTN/08/21

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Theatre, the successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centred care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative

services for all patient populations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • KRN, KRM, KRCHN, BSc. Nursing. with,
  • Higher Diploma in Perioperative Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in perioperative nursing.
  • Updated BLS qualification from a relevant body.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya
  • Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.
  • Attention to detail.

3.     Critical Care Nurses

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – ICU/HDU, the successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high quality, effective and compassionate high standards of professional individualised health care services to all critically ill patients and their families.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • KRN, KRM, KRCHN, BSc. Nursing. with,
  • Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing.
  • minimum two years of experience in CCU nursing
  • Updated BLS & ACLS qualifications from a relevant body.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.
  • Excellent assessment skills, ability to detect very subtle changes in a patient’s condition
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.

 

 

4.     Accident and Emergency (A & E) Nurses

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – A & E, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing high standards of professional nursing care to patients with life threatening emergency and trauma conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • KRN, KRM, KRCHN, BSc. Nursing. with,
  • Higher Diploma in Emergency Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in A & E nursing
  • Updated BLS & ACLS qualifications from a relevant body.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Quick thinking and action.

5.     Midwifery Nurses

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Maternity, the successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of professional quality nursing care by providing advice, care and support for women and their babies during pregnancy, labour and delivery, and the early postnatal period.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for provision of oversight of all infection prevention and control related activities in the Hospital.

  • Additional training in Infection Control- epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, public added advantage health, or other healthcare science

Reporting to Charge Nurse, the successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring the patient’s wounds and healing process and providing direct care to the patients promoting healthy and rapid healing of the patient’s wounds.

  • Certificate Course in Wound & Stoma care
  • Two years of experience in wound and stoma care
  • Updated BLS qualification from a relevant body.

11.                         Theatre Technicians

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Theatres, the successful candidates will be responsible for promoting safe practice and ensuring safe environment for patients and further meeting the needs of the patients in operating theatres.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-.
  • Certificate in Theatre Technician course from a recognized institution.
  • Two years of experience in theatre as a technician.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to quickly the grasp knowledge of theatre procedures and techniques.

 

 

12.                         Theatre Attendants

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Theatres, the successful candidates will provide support services in operating theatres by assisting the Anaesthetists in patient’s induction and patient preparing.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-
  • Certificate in Community Development/Health, Environmental/ Public Health from a recognized institution.
  • Two years of experience in theatre as an attendant.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.

 

 

13.                         CSSD Attendants

REF/CSDA/08/21

Reporting to the Charge Nurse – Theatres, the successful candidates will perform procedures and tasks to clean, prepare, pack and sterilize Unsterile instruments, linen and consumables and to supply sterile requirements to theatre and other auxiliary departments in the hospital while observing Hospital infection control policies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-
  • Certificate in Community Development/Health, Environmental/ Public Health from a recognized institution.
  • Professional training in infection Control, theatre technique or hospital waste segregation handling will be an added advantage.
  • Two years of experience as a CSSD attendant.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.

 

 

14.                         Stewards

Reporting to the Charge Nurse, the successful candidates will provide support services in the nursing department.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade C-
  • Training in life saving skills support (Nurse Aid, First Aid or Home-Based Care).
  • Two years of experience as a patient attendant.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.

15.                         Patient Porters

Reporting to the Charge Nurse, the successful candidates will provide the essential role of transporting patients, equipment, and supplies between different departments of the Hospital.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade C-
  • Training in life saving skills support (Nurse Aid, First Aid or Home-Based Care).
  • Two years of experience as a hospital porter.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care skills.
